• Before commercial real estate, Jim was in the music business doing promotions and marketing with EMI Records, and later Virgin Records.

• Married to Jaime Patrick Davenport (Senior Director of Marketing / terraGo). Two children, Penn (16) and Hollis (13) who attend The Marist School.

• Adjunct Professor at Georgia State University’s School of Music (MTM 3020)

• Currently the drummer for Atlanta-based cover band, Men Without Youth
