John Simpson specializes in assisting companies with the relocation of their office space and the acquisition/disposition of investment properties. He began his career with Weaver and Woodbery Real Estate (www.wwcompany.com), where he took part in the financial analysis and acquisition of industrial property. He also conducted market research and took part in the management of several properties.
John grew up in the historic Atlanta Neighborhood of Brookhaven. He attended Marist High School and went on to graduate with honors from Hampden-Sydney College, where he received a BA in Economics.
John is an active member of the US Green Building Council. He also serves as Committee Chairman of the Ducks Unlimited Buckhead Chapter and The Shepherd Center Junior Committee. He is involved with the alumni association for both Hampden-Sydney College and Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. Prior to leaving for college, John spent a great deal of time and energy with the Boy Scouts of America. He obtained the rank of Eagle Scout while at Troop 74, St. Phillips Cathedral.
When John is not closing big deals he enjoys duck hunting, fishing, reading, and traveling.
