Real Estate Experience
Paul Mendel has 22 years of experience representing companies such as American Cancer Society in their office space searches and negotiations. Paul has also served as exclusive leasing agent for a number of Atlanta office buildings including Five Points Plaza, a 125,000 SF property that he leased to the federal agency HUD, Housing, Urban Development, and Shadowood Office Park, a 200,000 SF suburban office park. Paul’s diverse experience in leasing, representing both tenants and landlords, along with his property management background, enable him to use his wealth of knowledge to negotiate advantageous terms and aggressive cost savings.
In addition, Paul currently heads the management and leasing team in charge of the facilities management for American Cancer Society’s 60 locations in seven states across the country including Georgia, the Carolina’s, Maryland, Delaware, and the District of Columbia in Washington, D.C. Paul is also in charge of the real estate transactions not only for all of the leased office buildings, but also the free-standing buildings that are owned by ACS as well.
